the creation of composite lining materials for the production of leather products has two goals: the development of a technology for the production of import-substituting materials based on local raw materials and giving these materials the desired set of hygienic and comfortable properties. The article deals with the issues of innovative technologies for the production of composite lining materials for the production of footwear, new in structure and composition. On the basis of the analysis, the types and structure of composite materials, the methods of their joining and the methods of production are determined, which allows us to program special properties that meet the stated requirements when designing the creation of composite lining materials
