Global Biodata Coalition Working Group on Open Data Strategies: Consultation Paper

This consultation paper explores ways in which research funders could work cooperatively to enhance implementation of open data policies and advance their shared commitment to maximise the value of research data. This paper was developed based on the discussions and inputs of a Global Biodata Coalition (GBC) Working Group comprised of expert representatives of our member funders. The GBC ran a consultation process to gather feedback and inputs from our stakeholders and communities on the ideas and options set out in this consultation paper from 2 October 2023 to 22 January 2024.  Although the consultation has now closed, GBC remains keen to receive feedback and discuss the ideas and options presented in the papers with our stakeholders.
