Abstract 
DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL TOURISM WITH THE INVOLVEMENT OF INDIGENOUS ASSOCIATIONS 
The development of rural tourism in the Republic of Moldova is a challenge for public authorities, the business environment and the associative sector, in terms of human capacities, existing regulations, access to financing. In this context, new approaches, tools and mechanisms for the implementation of various economic projects are required for the development of this field. To respond to these challenges, in the country, in the last years   a series of projects were carried out, with the active involvement of hom town associations, in cooperation with local public authorities, entrepreneurs and investors from the Diaspora.
