Description
This project studied both historical as well as metallurgical aspect of metal working. It compared the ancient metallurgical technology of Katsina state with modern ones; its development and collapse of the industry. Some metallurgical examinations and tests were carried out on some of the blacksmiths to asses the level of development attained by these practices. Based on the study carried out, ways of improvement were suggested.
