Description

ABSTRACT. Laboratory test work was carried out with the aim of evaluating the enrichment of sample of mixed sulphide-oxide ore and obtaining high-quality concentrates. The research performed includes full chemical analysis, phase analysis for determining the forms of the presence of Cu in the ore, X-ray diffraction analysis, mineralogical studies of polished sections from ores samples and polished briquettes, prepared from class 2.00-0 mm of the ore, studied through a polarising microscope in reflected light. The mineral and chemical composition of the studied sulphide-oxide ore determines the application of collective-selective flotation for the enrichment of the ore, intended at obtaining high-quality copper and pyrite concentrates.
