Caracterització conquiliològica i noves dades de distribució de Moitessieria olleri Altimira, 1960 (Neotaenioglossa: Rissooidea: Moitessieriidae)

Conchological characterization and new distribution data of Moitessieria olleri Altimira, 1960 (Neotaenioglossa: Rissooidea: Moitessieriidae). Moitessieria olleri Altimira, 1960 is conchologically redescribed, on the basis of specimens collected at the type locality (Cova del Toll, Moià, el Bages), as well as several new localities from the regions of el Bages, l’Osona and el Vallès Oriental, which enlarge the previously known distribution area of the species. An emended diagnosis of the species is provided, regarding several aspects such as the number of whorls, size, the type of growth of the two first whorls, and the ornamentation of the teleoconch and protoconch. A differential diagnosis in relation to other species of the genus Moitessieria is also provided, its distribution area is enlarged with new citations from Catalonia, and detailed images at the scanning electron microscope are provided.
