FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE AND FUNCTIONAL LITERACY

The article describes the concept of functional literacy, the necessary conditions for the formation of functional literacy in society, the legal and regulatory framework, the impact of functional literacy on the quality of education, the purpose of our country’s participation in the PISA international assessment study, the factors for the formation of functional literacy in general secondary education.
