  • In vitro, compounds 1-5 were evaluated for their anti-viral activities against the H1N1 virus. Five alkaloids showed activities; their IC50 values are shown in Table 3. In addition, the anti-viral activities against the RSV of five alkaloids were also tested. As a result, these alkaloids showed activities, as shown in Table 3. The first isolated five alkaloids showed better anti-viral activities against the H1N1 virus and RSV compared with the previously isolated labdane diterpenoids from this plant (Zhao et al., 2020).
