DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTATIONAL THINKING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS WHEN LEARNING SCRATCH

The article presents the theoretical foundations of the concept of computational thinking and the impact of programming in the Scratch environment on the formation and development of primary school students. The experience of introducing and teaching Scratch programming in the educational process of younger schoolchildren of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries is also shown.
