The Journey to Serverless Migration: An Empirical Analysis of Intentions, Strategies, and Challenges

This dataset comprises two files:

(I) Interview Preamble and (II) Data Analysis and Results. The initial file encapsulates an interview guide. The subsequent file includes two worksheets.

Worksheet 1: titled "Aggregated Results", presents comprehensive findings. It outlines the intentions behind migrating systems to serverless architecture, the strategies employed by firms, and the methods of decomposing legacy applications. Additionally, it reports the technical and organizational challenges highlighted by the interviewees, each associated with a specific system ID. The frequency of particular challenge occurrences, intentions, and strategies are documented for clarity.

Worksheet 2: contains all data reported by practitioners, ensuring a rich and detailed record of the information collected during the study.
