Kystes intracérébraux multiples diagnostiqués comme une cysticercose cérébrale : à propos d'un cas

Authors report a rare finding of neurocyticercosis as polycystic
masses that could mimic a brain tumor. A 44 year-old man presented focal
right faced seizures with progressive aphasia. Brain MRI showed two
multilocular cystic masses wich diagnotic was confirmed as subarachnoid
neurocysticercosis and disapprearring after larvicid treatment.
Neurocysticercosis can have an extra-parenchymal huge cystic presentation
and must be listed as diffential diagnosis of all tumoral lesions in an endemic
area such as our malagasy setting.
