The news in the internet newspapers say that the epidemic is "increasing" or "ending", thus maximizing or minimizing the risk of the epidemic. The aim of this study, which deals with the reflection of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic in 2022 on the internet news, is to reveal the problems in terms of discourse by making a comparative analysis of these news with the change of the course of the epidemic this year. In the study, 6 comparative news were analyzed by using Teun van Dijk’s critical discourse analysis method. The news covered in this research, which was also made using the 'Agenda setting theory' and 'Risk society approach', were examined by selecting the news from the most widely read internet newspapers that show the subject of the research in the most obvious way. As a result of the analysis, there are expressions in the news that either make the public very comfortable and say that everything has passed; or it is seen that there are news that worry a lot and cause anxiety in the society.
