In this article, we explore an analogy between information security and digital security practices and the protective 'pockets' formed around blisters, thorns, pimples, and cysts. Through this analogy, we examine how the concepts of protection, isolation, detection, and treatment can be applied to data, systems, and digital networks, highlighting the importance of prevention and efficient response to digital threats.
