The Diccionario da Lingua Portugueza by António de Morais Silva (MOR) constitutes a considerable piece of cultural heritage since it marks the beginning of modern Portuguese lexicography, serving also as a model for all subsequent lexicographical production throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
