Kibamba Hydro power project

Kibamba Hydro Power Project is one of the 8 cascade located on the luvua river with a projected installed capacity of 282 MW and with the others waterfall could reduce the deficit in Katanga province and then promote the reduction of the energy deficit and contribute to the development of the mining sector, the main driving force of the Congolese economy;

Increasing inflation will increase the cost of loan repayments , overall decreasing the net profits of the project in real money

Decrease in production to 80% due to plant equipment not being of standards and increase inflation will lead to an increase of sales and dividends which can only relate to the shareholders and not to the consumers of electricity who thus see the reduction or the discontinuity of electricity supply
