It analyzes the comprehension of Revelation and its due relation with Scripture and Tradition, starting in Council of Trento and culminating in the presentation that proposes Dei Verbum in II Vatican. It is noted the source of Revelation in the relation between Scripture and Revelation as unit, though having present its distinction, that is structural, above everything, the fixity of Scripture being the manifestation of its definite character, once Tradition is made plastic in the sense that development belongs to its essence, not for adding the news out of the faith deposit, but trough the comprehension and explanation of perspectives only implicit before; nevertheless, if the Word of God is given by inspiration, Tradition is the human word that reminds and explains divine precept with the assistance of Holy Spirit, excluding the mistake in the entirety of Tradition and in some individual acts (dogmatic definitions). It is concluded that Church lives of the Word of God and the Word of God resonates in the church, and the entirety of Scripture and Tradition is the supreme rule of its faith, fitting to Theology the investigation - at light of faith – of the manners specified by II Vatican Council, the whole truth contained in the mystery of Christ, having present the interdependence and the unity of these two elements, together with Mastership as authentic interpret of them, coming out of this relation the reality that constitutes a fundamental principle to be reminded in any sort of theological work.
