This data set contains information about 8288 music performances held in Milan from 1958 to 1962. It was collected from the "shows of the day" page on Italian newspapers Il Giorno and Il Corriere della Sera. Its collection, analysis and visualization is part of the PhD research project "Milan 1958-1962: Music Topography of a City".
