AFGHAN NATIONALS AND THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL STATUS OF SISTAN AND BALUCHISTAN

The present research determines the political and social status of Afghan nationals living in Sistan and Baluchistan province of Iran. This was a qualitative research conducted by content analysis method and data
obtained by deductive analysis method. Based on the findings of this paper, it can be acknowledged that the consequences of foreign nationals' migration to Iran are more negative; it brings some irreversible damages to the political, economic, and social and security structures of the eastern border regions and more broadly to the whole society.
