My master's thesis at the Technische Hochschule Köln. The aim was to develop an optimisation algorithm that maximises the utilisation of the distribution grid by coordinating several electric vehicles along a grid line during charging. In this way, the utilisation of the distribution network is to be maximised and at the same time an overload of the network is to be prevented. In addition, customer requirements (such as departure time and desired state-of-charge) are taken into account and non-discriminatory charging is made possible.
