Description

The study was aimed at formulating and evaluation a complete poly herbal serum                                      containing only traditionally used plant materials. The serum contained aqueous extract of Corouptia guanensis (leaves), Cyclea peltata (leaves) and Myristica fragrans(seed). The physicochemical parameters such as color, pH, spread ability, viscosity, redispersion, extractive value, ash value, and moisture content were studied using recommended procedures. The organoleptic evaluation of the poly herbal serum showed good result. the pH of the polyherbal serum ranged to be 4.8   5 which was near the pH required for hair. The total microbial count of serum containing plants extract for anti-microbial studies was found to be cfu less than 100 cfu/gm. The zone inhibition for antidandruff study increased   with increase in concentration of plant extracts. Herbal hair serum is free from any type of irritants and synthetics. So, it is safer for your hair and achieve better result without harming hair and environment.
