Database of calcareous nannofossil species and genus taxonomic etymologies

This is a database of the etymology for all Cenozoic and Mesozoic species and genera of calcareous nannofossils that appear on the nannotax.org website. The database was constructed to ascertain implicit biases that can be shown in how taxa were named. The main goal of the research was to show how pervasive biases (particularly gender and place biases) are in micropaleontology.
