PHASE EQUILIBRIUM IN THE Sb2Se3-Cu2Cr4Se7 SYSTEM
Authors/Creators
Description
The phase equilibrium in the Sb2Se3-Cu2Cr4Se7 system was studied by the methods of physical and chemical analysis: differential thermal analysis (DTA), X-ray phase analysis (XRD), microstructural analysis (MSA), as well as by measuring the density and microhardness, and a T-x phase diagram was constructed. It has been established that the system Sb2Se3-Cu2Cr4Se7 is a quasi-binary section of the eutectic type. The composition of the eutectic formed between the Sb2Se3 and Cu2Cr4Se7 compounds in the system is 25 mol % Cu2Cr4Se7 and the temperature is 430°C. In the system, the area of the solid solution based on Sb2Se3 is 3.0 mol % Cu2Cr4Se7, and on the basis of the Cu2Cr4Se7 compound up to - 15 mol % Sb2Se3 at room temperature.
