In terms of quality assurance in higher education, the choice of appropriate forms and methods of learning and teaching is a relevant issue. This study focuses on the experience of using digital technologies, in particular Google applications, in shaping the competencies of students of specialties 241 "Hotel and Restaurant Business" and 242 "Tourism". Explores how to use the functionality of Google Sites, Google Maps, Google Calendar in some topics of such academic disciplines as "Introduction to Specialty. Introductory practice", "Organization of tourist travel and sightseeing activities", "Event-management".
