The work presents the tasks, forms and methods of organizing enlightenment activities in higher educational institutions. Enlightenment activities are aimed at dissemination of information about the achievements of culture, science, etc. among the public. The main forms and methods of enlightenment activities in higher educational institutions are the organization and holding of scientific and practical seminars, round tables, quests, competitions, contests, theatrical performances, conferences and other scientific and educational events; creating and ensuring the work of museum studios and museums of educational institutions, theatre schools and art schools, various clubs and studios
