РОЛЬ СОЦІАЛЬНИХ НАУК В МЕТОДОЛОГІЇ ПРАКТИЧНОГО БОГОСЛОВ'Я (КАТОЛИЦЬКИЙ ПІДХІД)

The article examines the problems of applying social sciences (sociology and psychology) in the methodology of practical theology. Using the example of J. Cardijn’s paradigm, their function is analyzed at the first stage of research related to the study of significant social events and processes that are subject to theological examination. The role of social sciences is interpreted as auxiliary, but essential for the fruitful work of theologians.
