КОГНІТИВНИЙ ПІДХІД У ДОСЛІДЖЕННІ ПРИРОДИ ТЕРМІНІВ

The article considers the cognitive approach to terminology studies within the present-day anthropocentric paradigm of scientific knowledge. Cognitive terminology is viewed as a direction in linguistics research aimed to study the conceptual structure of terminological systems of various disciplines. Concepts are global units of mental activity required to store and exchange information. By frame modelling the basic concepts of a discipline can be presented as a conceptual network to elucidate the relations between language and mental structures.
