Evaluation of Cyber Security Strategy to Protect Data in Fulfilment of NDPR Requirements for Small Businesses in Nigeria (A case study of 4 Small Businesses)

This research explored the cybersecurity challenges and best practices for small businesses in Nigeria, which were vital for the economy but often overlooked their cybersecurity needs.

The research interviewed small business owners and employees, reviewed the NDPR data protection standards, evaluated different cybersecurity frameworks, and created a hybrid framework that fit the Nigerian context.

The research outcomes included a comprehensive analysis of the cybersecurity situation, a identification of the main issues and difficulties, and a provision of realistic and actionable suggestions for small businesses in Nigeria.
