Runes: A study from a holistic vantage point

This piece of work deals with understanding runes and the languages that are associated with them. The main objective of this paper is to create a dialogue on what runes are, their origin and evolution, and finally how can they be useful in understanding the cultures that were impacted by them. The primary source material we analyze is runic inscriptions that are found on Artifacts and Runestones. We look at various notable runestones and how the runic inscriptions on them can be interpreted to better resolve the image we have of the past.
