Description

The NNLM Personas contain 8 NNLM Member Organization Personas —in order of appearance, Public Library; College or University; Hospital Library; Community Based Organization; Hospital; Local Government; State/Regional Government; and,  Department of Public Health — which summarize the characteristics, attributes, preferences and reasons to value their membership in the NNLM. Each NNLM Persona is represented by a particular background color, their identifying information is expressed in simple language, and the “performance gauge” illustrations show their own evaluations on specific aspects of the membership (satisfaction, capacity to take on special projects, etc.) on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is the most negative value and 10 the most positive. NNLM staff members, NLM project scientists, and other interested parties may explore the Personas to understand the NNLM’s primary audiences.

This work is funded by the National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine, grant number U24LM01375.
