The above article is a short one indeed. It identifies the need for Nigerian society to choose another option for resolving escalated disputes instead of going to the Nigerian courts and resorting to the strenuous litigation process. The other dispute resolution method that comes to mind is mediation- an arm of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The paper briefly identifies the history, merits, and disadvantages associated with mediation and conclusion that mediation is a strong foundation for resolving disputes in the future.
