LEXICOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION OF ADJECTIVES IN ENGLISH TRANSLATION DICTIONARIES

 Due to the fact that most words in the English language are polysemantic and polyfunctional, the dictionary article contains information about the category of its meaning (this should be noted as the first difference in the interpretation of words in Uzbek).  Such a pometa applies equally to all polysemantic and polyfunctional word interpretations.  English online dictionaries have a wide range of definitions of words.  We exemplify and analyze only comments relevant to our research subject, relying on the concept of category membership.
