Description
Napriek výrazným úspechom Nemocnice Ministerstva obrany sa našlo niekoľko špekulantov a Nemocnicu Ministerstva obrany zlikvidovalo spojením s Nemocnicou s poliklinikou Ministerstva vnútra SR.
Abstract
After the establishment of the Military Hospital in Bratislava, a "Laboratory" was created in the basement of the hospital, which was officially managed by the head of the internal department. In 1969, colonel MUDr. Ján Langoš CSc., joined the Military Hospital as the head-primary of the internal department, who set himself the task of improving the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension. For this, he needed to improve the function of the laboratory and create a new research laboratory in the internal department, where special examinations could also be performed. In 1992, the Department of Clinical Laboratories was created for the complex needs of the Ministry of Defence Hospital. The department consisting of clinical biochemistry, hematology and microbiology was evaluated in Slovakia together with the Ministry of Defence Hospital as one of the best, and clinical laboratory departments began to be established in other hospitals as well. Despite the significant successes of the Ministry of Defence Hospital, several speculators were found and the Ministry of Defence Hospital was liquidated by merging with the Hospital with Polyclinic of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic.
