The Seed Propagation Of Some Allium L. Species Introduced In Absheron
Description
The seed propagation of some wild species of the genus Allium L (A.callidictyon, A. lacerum, A. dictyopra-
sum, A. affine, A. fuscoviolaceum, A. waldsteinin, A. materculae, A. pseudoflavum, A. paczoskianum, A.
cardiostemon, A. kunthianum, A. leucanthum, A. atroviolaceum, A. vineale, A. schoenoprasum, A. szovitsii,
A. woronovii, A. akaka) introduced in Absheron and growing in the Nakchivan flora were studied. All the
introduced onion species were divided into 3 type for their seed germination: 1) The species with deep
endogenous silence period (A.callidictyon, A. szovitsii); 2) Onion species with the partially silence period (A.
rubellum, A.akaka, A. atroviolaceum); 3) Onion species with the non-silence seed period (A. waldsteinin, A.
