Description

The data presented in the paper are based on three-year (2014-2016) studies on the bioecological features of
the jewel beetles conducted in the Lenkoran Natural Area. The family is represented by 22 species;
information is given on the numerical ratio, food specialization and habitat. Four species of the subfamily
Agrilinae-Meliboeus robustus (Küster, 1852), Coraebus rubi (Linnaeus, 1767), Coraebus elatus (Fabricius,
1787), Agrilus viridis (Linnaeus, 1758), which are of great economic importance as pests of fruit trees
dominated during material collection. The quantitative assessment of the harmfulness of the studied species
was 5.6, 3.5, 5.2, 4.2, respectively.
