Pronunciation is an essential aspect of language learning, as it directly affects the ability of learners to communicate effectively with native speakers. However, teaching pronunciation can be a challenging task, particularly when dealing with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. In this context, the use of guided and unguided activities has been identified as a useful approach to teaching pronunciation, as it allows students to practice and improve their pronunciation skills in a structured and supportive environment. In this article the role of guided and unguided activities in teaching pronunciation are described.
