Elevating the modern educational experience: Correlating 'Practical Vedanta' and 'Bratacārī

Vedantic thought and works of Swami Vivekananda and works of
Bratacārī Gurusaday Dutt evolved to modify the human mind
to reconstruct a developed society in India. Both of them deeply
contributed to arousing nationalism on the spiritual aspect. This article
made an effort to correlate the concept of ‘Practical Vedanta’ of ‘Swamiji’
and Bratacārī of ‘Guruji’ in the development of every individual. By the
help of an Indian logic called “sthāthīpulākanyāya. ” The present author
tries to discuss the importance of Practical Vedanta through a cultural
system called Bratacārī in modern education. Vedānta, Bratacārī and
Modern Education will be the targeted area. In this context, the present
author’s purpose is to recognise the value of Bratacārī as another form
of Practical Vedanta in Modern Education.
