GTDB Genome Contigs DBs for Veseli et al. 2023

Authors/Creators

Description

A collection of anvi'o contigs databases for 338 genomes associated with the human gut environment analyzed in the study by Veseli et al. titled "High metabolic independence is a determinant of microbial resilience in the face of gut stress". These are species cluster representatives from the GTDB, release 95.0.

The genomes were processed into contigs databases using the anvi'o contigs workflow. As part of this workflow, they were annotated with KEGG KOfams using `anvi-run-kegg-kofams` and a KEGG snapshot from December 12, 2020 (modules database hash value `45b7cc2e4fdc`). Their association with the gut environment was determined using read recruitment from publicly-available fecal metagenomes. See manuscript and its reproducible workflow for details.
