NEvents and NeuronX JSON based events can be compiled to NEURON scripting language, in python. NEURON developed by Hines of Yale University, is a popular language for neuronal modelling. In this short paper, a model of a Mimosa Pudica hair cell, the plant neurobiological interaction with peduncles is described with two NEvent pathways, compiled to NEURON script source code.
