It can be said that over the past year or two, great changes have taken place in the field of education. Due to the COVID-2019 pandemic, the education system has begun using distance learning to provide pupils and students with many resources. After that, the number of students enrolled in proctoring systems also began to increase. Autoproctoring systems based on artificial intelligence have rapidly entered distance learning. Online proctoring systems were used to ensure transparency in distance learning and examination processes. This article presents an analysis of proctoring systems based on artificial intelligence. In scientific databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and ERIC, 43 scientific articles on proctoring systems were registered from 2015 to 2021. At the same time, the main research problems are analyzed with a focus on the existing architecture of proctoring systems based on artificial intelligence. The analysis of online proctoring systems and AI-based proctoring systems showed that the problems associated with the development of AI-based proctoring systems are increasing
