The role of the Kharkiv scientific and pedagogical intelligentsia in the revival of historical memory and national consciousness during «perebydova» (based on press materials)

The article examines the role of the scientific and pedagogical intelligentsia in the processes of national revival in Ukraine in the second half of the 1980s. The author reveals its participation in reviving the memory of repressions, the Holodomor and other pages of history, in solving the problem of spreading the use of the Ukrainian language in the Ukrainian SSR.
