Sensible heat fluxes control cloud trail strength

Description

This dataset contains a minimal set of data used to create figures in Johnston et al. (2023) Sensible Heat Fluxes Control Cloud Trail Strength, Quarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society. Additional liquid water path data from the control experiment (H250E250) is also provided to better visualise the cloud field in this central experiment.

Notes

Idealised experiments performed using the MetOffice Unified Model version 10.9.
