Synopsis: The presentation was part of a virtual panel session titled Are We There Yet? Building a robust RDM ecosystem to support widespread research data sharing and funder policy compliance at Research Data Access and Presentation (RDAP) on March 29, 2023. The presentation presented some key highlights in the development of events leading to the implementation of an institutional electronic lab notebook solution at the University of Florida. This project solved the issue of the need for an institutional electronic lab notebook solution for researchers in support of data management planning and sharing.ELN also referred as electronic research notebook (ERN). Within the scope of this presentation, ELN and ERN are used interchangeably.
