Description
Summary briefing of ARINZRIT (Applying Responsible Innovation to the Net Zero Research Infrastructure Transformation), a sandpit project as part of the UKRI Net Zero Digital Research Infrastructure Scoping Project. The aim of this project was to 'map the landscape' of how policies and practices interplay and affect growth in digital research infrastructure. Interviews were conducted across stakeholder groups of users, providers, commissioners, and senior management relating to DRI, where experiences shared highlighted some of the complexities and relationships to be considered in moving towards Net Zero ambitions for DRI. The report summarises the key findings and recommendations moving forward from ARINZRIT in working towards a roadmap for carbon neutrality in the UK's digital research infrastructures.
