PRINCIPIUL INTERESULUI SUPERIOR AL COPILULUI DIN PERSPECTIVĂ EUROPEANĂ

Authors/Creators

  • 1. Universitatea din Craiova, România

Description

The principle of the child’s best interest is laid down in many international legal tools, as well as in the internal regulations that Romania has adopted lately. In addition to this fundamental principle, the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination also plays a particularly important role, along with the principle of consultation and respect for the views of the child. This congruence of the principles has a particular significance in the field of protection of the rights of the child, given that they constitute general ideas, even fundamental theses for this area of intense debate and discussion.
