JUNIOR ACADEMY OF SCIENCES PARTICIPATION AS ATTRACTIVENESS FACTOR OF THE UKRAINIAN SCHOOLS

The article analyses the factors of the successful performance of the school students of the Specialized economic and law school of Kharkiv University of Humanities “People’s Ukrainian Academy” (Kharkiv,
Ukraine) within the Junior Academy of Sciences in the philological area with the focus on the foreign languages and linguistics. It is concluded that the commitment of all members of the research cluster to realize the
creative potential of an individual, the responsible interaction of school and university teachers within the integrated department of KhUH “PUA” with the aim to support young researchers at all stages of their work as well as the strategic methodology and organization of work with the school students of SELS form a set of key factors to provide efficiency of the young researchers performance. The role and function of the established research clusters as groups of creators and experts which include a university professor, secondary school teachers, and a junior researcher are explicated. Other necessary components of the quality research
projects for the Junior Academy of Sciences competition include the framework of seminars, regular consultations, and independent work of the schoolers over the project during the research stages (collecting
a research base, studying theoretical aspects, creating the conference presentation and poster). The topics for the scientific projects are relevant and timely, corresponding to the age and interests of the junior researchers.
