Performance comparison of XMLTK and Xalan-c
Description
This is a gold-standard reproduction package of an experiment performed by Iliana Avila-Campillo et. al. in 2002 as part of the paper "XMLTK: An XML Toolkit for Scalable XML Stream Processing", and compares the performance of XMLTK's xsort with that of Xalan-c. This upload was created as a student project for the lecture "Reproducibility Engineering" at the University of Passau.
This upload contains the following files:
- Git bundles of the repeng-xmltk and repeng-xmltk-report source repositories. These can be cloned using e.g. "git clone repeng-xmltk.bundle".
- The resulting binary Docker image as a tarball. It can be imported using "docker image load -i repeng-xmltk-docker.tar.xz".
- The raw measurements as csv files in a zip archive.
- The final report in PDF format.
