Description
Earth Observation (EO) satellite missions provide an unprecedented increase volume of data production leading to new capabilities to monitor & analyze the health of our planet. However, these massive volumes of data are complex to analyze and are not always easy to access. In this respect, CS GROUP has developed EarthSelf service in the frame of SNAPEARTH EU H2020-funded project aiming at Fostering EO market uptake thanks to added value services based on EO data & cutting-edge AI.
EarthSelf is a platform addressing any user wishing to develop Value Added Services using or based on AI and EO data without any knowledge to have specific skills in IT. The cloud environments that EarthSelf platform deploys on different Cloud providers answer the question of being cloud agnostic, while also addressing the issue of scalability and security. Four Pilot Services were implemented as first users of the EarthSelf to provide very advanced use cases linked to several EO vertical markets, such as climate, press, agriculture and food security.
