Different Approaches to Current Challenges in Educational Psychology

Description

In educational psychology, current challenges arise due to the developing world, technology and access to information. Many of these are to determine instructional strategies and learning contexts related to the learning process for all students, as well as for students with special needs, in terms of their individual characteristics. Identifying the categories and items that make the best contribution to the realization of the learning activity, among the complicating effects of learning, can be a first step in this regard. It is no accident that one of the main theories in educational psychology is the sociocultural approach to learning that emphasizes the key role of interaction in children's learning. If we are to consider students with disabilities, it will be understood that this understanding of interactive learning goes beyond the limitations or potentials of individual students. Contextual aspects that can improve learning experiences and outcomes seem to be compatible with the focused social disability model. In recent years, this theory-based view of interactive learning has led to the development of educational actions such as interactive groups and dialogic literary gatherings that improve the learning outcomes of a variety of children, including those with disabilities. The purpose of this article is to analyze the social impact achieved by a series of research that explores the benefits of such successful educational actions for the education of students with special needs, supplemented by several strategies. As the analysis of data related to national and European research projects and literature studies based on the communicative research methodology also contributes to the study, this methodology draws on equitable dialogue with the end users of the research, including teachers, students with and without disabilities, relatives of students and other community members. requires allowing the creation of an intersubjective knowledge that allows for deeper and more accurate understanding.
