Description

As part of Project Ô’s long-term legacy, we aim to foster the development of a community of practice relating to collaborative development of a circular water economy and environmental sustainability. This document presents the strategy for creating this community of practice or ‘living network’.

The strategy leverages the strengths of the project’s participatory approach to water sustainability innovation, including collaborative and co-production models of fostering pro-environmental change. The network should foster expanded community capabilities in topics such as stakeholder engagement, impact evaluation, evidence-based sustainability communication and social innovation. The core beneficiaries for this network are those working in water reuse across a wide range of disciplines, with a particular focus on researchers and related professionals (see Figure 1 for indicative coverage for the living network).
