Description
Water reuse is a fundamental step toward the circular economy, and a necessary action to relieve pressure on freshwater resources. The adoption of water reuse technologies plays a crucial role in the water reuse strategy.
Project Ô Deliverable D5.7 aims at analyzing drivers and barriers of the adoption of water reuse technologies from technology adopters. In particular, it focuses on the case study of the Puglia demosite. It considers the local water utility (Acquedotto Pugliese – AQP) as the pivotal technology adopter, while extending the area of investigation to include the whole supply chain underlying the reuse activities. The aim of the investigation is to highlight relevant drivers and barriers to the adoption and correct management and operation of reuse technologies and reclamation plants.
